Hooray for "California Law"! The state was the first to ban tobacco use in restaurants and now ingestion of trans fat in restaurants. It is sad that we Americans living in a "free" country are dependent upon having government control our use of that which is "bad." I think we are safe with grape nuts and shredded wheat, except when it's sugarcoated.

What's next? We should all look in our pantry to see if we have a can of trans fat. Maybe the federal government will be able to subsidize the manufacturers of trans fat when it loses business. They should check with the tobacco growers.
