We have way too many problems to fix in America to fix the rest of the world's problems. The patriotism we show today is superficial and scary. Being in the U.S. Air Force, I see too much boasting in our own strength. President Bush has allowed oil prices to soar, the middle class to break down and the American dream to go down the toilet. Our Congress and Senate have no courage to stand up for what's right. Those few in politics who are noble and true are laughed at with scorn. What is to become of our once-great, God-fearing nation? We have allowed the destroyers to rot us from the inside out. Why do we listen to special interest groups who stop us from using our own resources in a time of urgency?
We are broken and in a frightful way.
