I am appalled at the audacity of presidential candidate Barack Obama. He travels to Europe for a string of photo opportunities, and in a speech in Berlin apologizes for the behavior of my country. He apologized to a people whose system of government has taxed its people into poverty, stifled individualism and innovation, traded national sovereignty for economic power and called on others braver than they to keep them safe.

The United States of America is the greatest nation on Earth. Does Sen. Obama put down our country simply to win popularity in Europe, or does he really hate the United States? The more I hear from the senator's mouth, the more it appears that he wants us not only to emulate Europe, but to be Europe. We should be very worried about a man who wants to be president of a country he doesn't even like.
