In reply to Joey Richards' comment that the abortion law goes too far (Readers' Forum, July 24) — referring to the South Dakota law where doctors must inform women seeking abortions that the procedure will end a human life and the fact it is a burden on women and men in difficult situations, no-brainer there. Of course, it's a difficult situation. It's an immoral and unethical procedure, to put it nicely. But did the "women and men" think of that before they got pregnant? Abortion comes down to self-serving motives. There are alternatives: adoption.
