PROVO — A slow moving freight train knocked a tractor trailer off the tracks after the driver refused to yield Wednesday morning.

Provo Police Lt. John Geyerman said the truck was traveling west on 1680 North, two blocks east of Geneva Road, when it crossed the railroad tracks. A train traveling around 10 mph hit the truck and nudged it off.

The train knocked over a trailer the truck was towing, but Geyerman said no one was injured in the slow-motion collision. The driver, however, was issued a citation for failing to yield.
