HEBER CITY — Park officials have identified the man who died in a watercraft accident last week as Jose Aniles.

The 44-year-old Salt Lake man was riding a personal watercraft at Jordanelle State Park on July 19 when it collided with another watercraft, according to a statement from park officials.

The watercrafts were not moving very fast, and Aniles was able to get back on his machine after being thrown to the water, officials said. The man rode to the shore and walked to a nearby pavilion, where he collapsed and died from internal injuries.
