ANTELOPE ISLAND — Local runners Corbin Talley, 31, and Stephanie King, 26, took first place in their respective divisions at last week's XTERRA Antelope Island Trail Run.

Talley, the head track and field and cross country coach at Davis High School, won the 12K race in 48:29 with Kevin Tuck, 52, taking second place more than two minutes later.

In the women's race, King won with her time of 1:01:59 with Jenna Deelstra coming in a close second at 1:02:17.

It was the third of four races in the 2008 XTERRA Utah Trail Run Series. Next up is the XTERRA Wheeler Canyon Xduro 21K Trail Run on Aug. 16.
