SPANISH FORK — A new book set to be released next week will promote a local group's "Statue of Responsibility" project.

The Statue of Responsibility is planned for the West Coast, and at 300 feet high, is to match the Statue of Liberty.

Numerous writers contributed to the anthology about the need for responsibility as a part of liberty, Daniel Bolz said. Bolz is president and CEO of the Statue of Responsibility Foundation, headquartered in Spanish Fork.

The book launch is set for Tuesday, July 29, at the Spanish Fork headquarters, 185 N. Main. from noon until 2 p.m. Tthe book consists of five sections: Personal Responsibility; Rights and Responsibilities, Moral Leadership, Accountability vs. Entitlement; and Corporate Responsibility and Ethics. Authors include Denis Waitley, the late Christopher Reeve, President George W. Bush, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, George S. McGovern, Jack Canfield, Rudy Giuliani, Bishop Desmond Tutu and others.
