PARK CITY — Children caught doing good things will get a ticket here. It's one that allows them to go get a free drink or a Slurpee at 7-Eleven convenience stores.

The Park City Police Department announced Tuesday its participation in "Operation Chill," a program that rewards children with coupons for good behavior. Some police officers will hand out coupons for children doing things like wearing bicycle helmets, crossing a street in a marked crosswalk, using their seat belt or doing something good for someone else.

"Operation Chill" was created by 7-Eleven as a way to help combat summertime crimes committed by youths, police said.
