Marriott International said Thursday that it will break ground this summer for a 98-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott and an 85-room TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Vernal.
The master plan for the area that the two hotels will occupy also includes future retail and restaurant development. The hotels will offer a total of about 1,700 square feet of meeting-room space.
The hotels will be owned by Vernal Valley Lodging Associates LLC and will be operated under a license agreement from Marriott International. The two hotels will be managed by Zions Hospitality Management Services of Provo.
