When I saw that the Iranian basketball team was visiting Utah, I felt honored and thrilled. That the NBA would choose Utah to host them out of all of the other places made me proud to live here. Also, I was thrilled to think that they would get a chance to feel our hospitality and cheerfulness.

Governments get in the way when we deal with relationships between people. This is an opportunity for them to see, citizen to citizen, that we aren't what their government — and our government — says we are. Time for truth and goodwill.
