PANGUITCH — A New Jersey tour bus went off the shoulder of state Route 12 in Red Canyon, rolled into a creek bed and landed on its top, injuring multiple teenagers.

Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden said that no serious injuries resulted in the accident just west of Bryce Canyon National Park.

The bus was carrying 47 teenagers and six counselors and was headed east bound at noon when for some unknown reason it left the roadway and tumbled down an embankment, Roden said.

Roden said the injured were being treated at the scene and would be transported to area hospitals as necessary.
