WEST VALLEY CITY — Police have two people into custody in connection with a credit union heist Tuesday afternoon.

Two men with handguns walked into the Premier Credit Union, 2250 S. Redwood Road, just before 3 p.m. and ordered everyone inside to lie on the floor, said West Valley City Police Sgt. Jeff Conger.

The men were given money and left in a getaway car.

A witness description of the vehicle led police to a Salt Lake Valley home where police say one of the suspects lived. Two people inside the home were taken into custody Tuesday evening, Conger said.

Police did not immediately release the suspects' names.

Officers were waiting to make entry at another home Tuesday evening, Conger said.
