A man was killed when he flipped his truck down an embankment and it landed on top of him.
The Utah Highway Patrol said the accident happened at 1:25 a.m. Monday when a 2002 Ford F-250 was on the 900 South onramp to I-15.
"The vehicle entered the ramp at a high rate of speed, lost control, overcorrected and rolled down a hill," UHP spokesman Jeff Nigbur said.
The driver, identified as 34-year-old Dustin Smith of Sandy, was ejected.
"We looked for him and couldn't find him anywhere," Nigbur said. "Once we got the tow truck there and moved the truck, he was under the truck."
