The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced Sunday that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Dustin Moseley from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Moseley, 26, made a spot-start for the Angels in Sunday's game against Oakland, allowing two runs in 5 1/3 innings of their 4-3 victory over the Athletics. Moseley has appeared in 11 games for the Bees in 2008, owning a 5-5 record with a 5.88 ERA and 51 strikeouts.

The Angels also optioned infielder Sean Rodriguez to the Bees. Rodriguez, 22, was recalled to the Angels on July 12 but did not play in Saturday's game at Oakland. He has appeared in 22 games for the Angels this season, hitting .185 with one double, one home run and three RBIs. He has appeared in 44 games for the Bees in 2008, hitting .313 with 13 doubles, 15 home runs and 40 RBIs.
