OREM — The Orem Owlz provided too little offense too late in a 7-3 loss to the Billings Mustangs on Saturday. Orem struggled to find its rhythm at the plate, collecting only four hits throughout the first eight innings.

Chris McMurray and Miguel Rojas each had RBI singles with two outs in the sixth to give the Mustangs a 4-1 lead. Billings' starter Jamie Arneson pitched six innings, allowing no earned runs and striking out five, to pick up his third win.

RAPTORS 8, VOYAGERS 5: At Ogden, the Raptors opened up a 3-0 lead in the first inning and survived a late-game rally by the Voyagers to walk away with another win. Eight of nine players in the Ogden's starting lineup collected at least one hit to help the Raptors to their fifth win in six games. Kyle Russell and Brian Ruggiano each went 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs apiece.
