Course description: The course bills itself as "a touch of Scotland," and except for the housing development around the course, the description fits. The course is fairly flat with few trees, but the mounds and bunkers, and long grass in the roughs, give it a links feel. There is lots of water on every hole but one, but it always doesn't come into play as there are only a handful of lakes or streams to hit over. With five sets of tees and greens that aren't overly undulating, the course is very playable for golfers of all abilities. Fun fact: Each hole has its own distinctive name such as Futball Field, Paddie's Lire and Loch Ness MonsterHoles to remember: No. 3 has a narrow fairway with out of bounds left and water on the right, but straight shots make it a birdie-able par 5. No. 12 is a challenging par 4 slight dogleg left that requires a carry over water from the back tees. No. 18 is the signature hole, a risk-reward par 5 with an island green that will make all but the very best players think twice about going for it in two.
