The popular All-Horse Parade, sponsored by the American West Heritage Center, will take place July 19 at 9 a.m. in downtown Wellsville. No mechanical entries are allowed in the parade — only horses, mules, ponies and other animals and the wagons, surreys, buggies and other vehicles they pull.

Anyone wishing to participate should call Craig Maughan at 435-245-4794. Anyone wanting to watch the parade can just show up.

The parade will be held in connection with the Spirit of '47 Pioneer Jubilee, which will be held at the center that day. The Jubilee includes a pioneer run, quilt show and pioneer clothing exhibit, pony rides, storytelling, a horse-pull competition, a marbles tournament, handcart progressive dinner and more. Admission to the Jubilee is $7 for adults and $5 for children. For more information, visit or call 435-245-6050.
