A special concert to salute and help families of servicemen and women will be held Saturday at the Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheatre, 403 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton. Sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, proceeds will go to the Military Assistance Program, which provides financial and other support to families of deployed soldiers.

The concert will feature alternative pop singer Ben Johnson, pianist Kelsie Call and Steffon, the one-named artist famous for his Frank Sinatra-like vocals. There may even be a flyover from Hill Air Force Base.

Tickets are $12 for reserved orchestra seating and $10 for general admission lawn seating. They are available at the door or in advance through the Davis Arts Council, 445 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton, or call 801-546-8575.
