Thanks to construction, traffic is restricted to two narrow lanes between 800 South and 400 South on 800 East in Orem Wednesday. Orem residents can expect a bumpy road for the next two weeks as crews work to fix 800 East. Road milling from 1500 South to Center Street began Monday and is expected to be finished by Monday, said Orem city project manager Stephen Perkins. Paving should begin on July 16 and should be done by July 21. Crews work in the day and shut down in the evening to avoid after-hours noise, Perkins said.
