Retaliation was the motive for a man who fired at a Salt Lake home during a drive-by shooting late last month, according to charges filed Thursday.

The 18-year-old fired six shots into a home near 900 North and Starcrest Drive (1840 West) on June 26 "because he was upset with the actions of one of the residents," according to the charges filed in 3rd District Court.

No one was injured during the shooting.

The man faces six counts of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, a third-degree felony.
