Casper 5, Ogden 2: At Ogden Thursday, the Raptors jumped out to a slim 1-0 lead and outhit the Casper Ghosts seven to six but still suffered a 5-2 loss chiefly due to two errors and five wild pitches. The Ghosts nabbed three runs in the bottom of top of the fifth off a fielding error and a two-run double by Wilin Rosario and added two more in the top of the ninth off back-to-back wild pitches by Javier Solano. James Sims batted 1.000 on the night for the Ghosts, going 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs, while Rosario contributed two hits and two RBIs. Pedro Baez led the Raptors with two hits, including a home run, and Kyle Russell added a solo homer of his own in the bottom of the ninth. Dan Houston got the win on the mound, giving up only three hits over six innings and ringing up eight strikeouts.
