I am a lifelong, dyed-in-the-wool, conservative Republican who voted for Jason Chaffetz and will most likely vote for non-Republican candidates in the general election in November. The Utah State Republican Party has become nothing more than a "good-old-boys" club. They talk Republicanism, but their records do not reflect it.

If the Republican Party of Utah does not get away from the private-club cronyism, it will begin to lose power in the state. To the Republican Party leaders I say, choose candidates who will listen to the people.
