AMERICAN FORK — Police arrested a 21-year old Orem resident early Sunday morning on suspicion of an attack on a former female roommate.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, the man went to his former roommate's home to talk with her, but when he was not allowed inside he threatened to kick down the door or come through a window. In an attempt to avoid damage to her property the woman finally allowed him to enter.

The man then allegedly went into a bedroom where children were sleeping and grabbed the woman and kissed her against her will. The report says she slapped him and he grabbed her by the hair, began to grope her, threw her down and got on top of her.

The report says the woman fought back and got him off of her and then called the police. The affidavit says the man later admitted to officers that he threatened to kick the door open, felt her breast and got on top of her.

He has his first appearance in 4th District Court on July 7.
