Firefighters knocked down two small wildfires in Utah County on Sunday.

The Molly II fire burned about 10 acres in the foothills near Payson and the Narrows fire burned about seven acres in Spanish Fork Canyon before both blazes were contained around 6 p.m., said U.S. Forest Service spokeswoman Kathy Jo Pollock.

No structures were threatened by either fire, and no injuries were reported Sunday.

Fire officials planned to patrol the area in Spanish Fork Canyon today, and Pollock said a 20-person crew would stay at the Molly II fire overnight as a precaution.
