A Fort Herriman Middle School teacher who upset parents after they heard she reportedly spoke in graphic terms about sex education information to her health class will not be back this fall.
"She no longer works for us and she will not be returning to teach next year," Melinda Colton, public information officer for the Jordan School District, said on Saturday.
The teacher, who has more than 30 years of classroom experience, was said to have told students how to have sex, how to masturbate and how to use sex toys. She also allegedly used explicit images.
Angry parents complained to the principal and the teacher was initially placed on leave while the district conducted an investigation into what happened.
