Nelson Mandela waves as actor Will Smith looks on at a charity concert in honor of Mandela's birthday in London Friday.

Queen, Leona Lewis, Amy Winehouse and a host of African stars joined tens of thousands of music fans Friday to salute Nelson Mandela at a concert honoring the South African statesman's 90th birthday.

Proceeds from the outdoor show — which organizers hope would be attended by 46,664 people at London's Hyde Park — will go to 46664, the AIDS charity named for the number Mandela wore while imprisoned for opposing South Africa's apartheid regime.

Meantime, Congress sent President Bush a bill on Friday that once signed into law will allow Mandela to visit the United States without the secretary of state having to certify that he is not a terrorist.
