On what valid grounds does local pollster Dan Jones base his offensive accusations that Utahns are guilty of "sexism" in Hillary Clinton's February defeat in Utah? (June 22)

Professional pollsters conduct scientific evaluations and then give unbiased interpretation and balanced perspective, based on the data. But in this case, I'm shocked at Mr. Jones' biased and unprofessional statements and his inappropriate descent into personalized commentary. I suspect Utah's mainstream thinking is that a female president would be a great thing — if it were the right woman (same criterion as for males) for the job.

Blame her Utah defeat on other campaign factors and issues, but I could never buy Dan Jones' assessment that it's primarily due to "sexism."
