At 1:50 p.m. on Wednesday I went into the West Valley driver license office to get an upgrade on my license so I could drive a motorcycle. After waiting 30 minutes in line I was given a number and told that I was not guaranteed to be able to be serviced on that day. I asked the officer if there was a better day or time or location. He said there were more than 120 people in line in the early morning and it would only get worse. It is also impossible to get a live person on the phone at this government office.

The state director of drivers' licenses should be fired.
