Craig Sjodin, ABC
Jason Kennedy hosts "Machine."

Dance Machine (7 p.m., Ch. 4): The latest dance competition show is a dumbed-down version of So You Think You Can Dance, featuring people who would never survive the initial auditions on that show. Heck, some of them would get buzzed off America's Got Talent. Each week, six amateur dancers compete for a $100,000 prize. They have to survive one-on-one dance-offs with other contestants, and all the judging is done by the studio audience. It's essentially harmless, but even the most inept celebrity on Dancing With the Stars is light years beyond some of these contestants.

Doctor Who (7 and 9 p.m., Sci Fi): In the conclusion of a two-parter, the Doctor and Donna are threatened by all sorts of spooky beings in a derelict library.

Numb3rs (8 and 9 p.m., Ch. 2): The first of two repeats is about the search for the leader of a fundamentalist, polygamous cult who's wanted for rape and murder; the second is about the search for a missing yacht.

Brokeback Mountain (10 p.m., Bravo): The Oscar-winning 2005 film makes its basic-cable debut.
