GENOLA — The plans for Genola's annual town celebration include ball games, a community dinner in the park, a parade, a rodeo and, of course, night time fireworks.

Most of the activities are scheduled for Friday and Saturday with ball games Thursday evening, said a City Hall employee. The town dinner starts Friday at 6 p.m. in the park near City Hall, 74 W. 800 South.

On Saturday, the 5K Run/Walk/Crawl takes off at 7 a.m. followed by a flag ceremony at 9 a.m. The parade starts at 10 a.m. followed by activities and entertainment in the park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. followed by fireworks.
