Utah backcountry volunteers — Your opportunity to help Utah's public lands. One-week and three-day-weekend spring service trips to great places like the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Dark Canyon, San Rafael Swell and more. Car camping and/or backpacking.

Ronald McDonald House — Weekend volunteers needed. Groups need to provide and prepare meals for 35 guests. Individuals needed for three-hour weekly shifts at our reception desk.

The Greater Salt Lake Chapter of the American Red Cross — The agency needs volunteer health professionals to serve in a variety of positions. They also need a part-time receptionist.

Utah Gardens — Youth garden steward needed in South Jordan garden. You would be overseeing a large garden that is run by youths. All food is donated to the needy. Commitment is about eight hours a week. Garden team members needed for our Bluffdale garden (adults only). Commitment is about three to five hours a week. You would be a team member growing food used in fundraising efforts

Salt Lake County Healthy Aging — Healthy Aging Program is accepting volunteers to participate in a four-day facilitator- training workshop. Facilitators team-teach at least two classes during the year. Classes meet once a week for six weeks. Stipend is available for teaching the courses.

Sandy Victim Assistance Program — The Sandy City Victim Assistance Program needs highly motivated volunteers who are interesting in working with law enforcement.

Alzheimer's Association — The Salt Lake Memory Walk is looking for volunteers to help organize the Sept. 6 event. A variety of opportunities available. Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association Utah Chapter.
