I have been a longtime supporter of Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. and his family. It's hard to find a politician anymore who shares my beliefs on most issues. However, I now find myself on the other side of the fence over his position regarding "more normalcy" in state liquor laws. He stated that everybody is entitled to "weigh in" concerning this issue, so I feel that silence on the matter would be equal to promoting a call for more drunks on our highways.

If the governor succeeds in abolishing the current liquor laws so that the state's travel and tourism industry can grow, he will certainly be responsible for a strong surge in drunken drivers and that which follows.

I hope a great many people will "weigh in" on this issue. We need sanity, not more drunks.
