OREM — The I-15 Series has been an one-way street in 2008.

The Orem Owlz completed their six-game series sweep of the Ogden Raptors on Sunday afternoon with a 8-4 victory.

Orem's first two batters in the order did the damage this time with Ivan Contreras and Roberto Lopez combining for four hits — including two doubles — and five RBIs. Also, catcher Alberto Rosario broke out of his slump. He went 3-for-4 after starting the season 1-for-14.

Rosario scored two runs including the eventual game-winner in the decisive sixth inning of a Contreras groundout.

Owlz (6-0) reliever William Smith (1-0) got the victory by pitching two shutout innings.

All of the Raptors' (0-6) scoring came off home runs by Clay Calfee, Gabriel Casanova, and Kyle Orr.

The two teams get a three-game break from each other before playing two more Thursday and Friday in Ogden.
