Utah Backcountry Volunteers — This is an opportunity to help Utah's public lands and includes one-week and three-day-weekend spring service trips to great places like the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Dark Canyon, San Rafael Swell and more. Car camping and/or backpacking.

Snowbird Renaissance Center — The Snowbird Renaissance Center has an incredible lineup of events this year. Earn free admission to the festivals and other events or other benefits by volunteering during the year. Volunteers needed to help with clerical staff, advertising and publicity, event setup and cleanup, design and decorations, and children's activities.

Utah Food Bank — The Utah Food Bank will be canning spaghetti sauce. Volunteers need to wear clean clothing that can get dirty. (No shorts, tank tops or sandals please.) All the product canned that day will be donated to the Utah Food Bank.

The Greater Salt Lake Chapter of the American Red Cross — Volunteer health professionals are needed to serve in a variety of positions. A part-time receptionist is also needed.

Utah Gardens — A youth garden steward is needed in a South Jordan garden. You would be overseeing a large garden that is run by fellow youths. All food is donated to the needy. Commitment is about eight hours a week.

Garden team members for the Bluffdale garden — Commitment is about three to five hours a week. You would be a team member growing food used in fundraising efforts.

Salt Lake County Healthy Aging — Healthy Aging Program is accepting volunteers to participate in a four-day facilitator training workshop. Facilitators team teach at least two classes during the year. Classes meet once a week for six weeks and volunteers receive a stipend for teaching the courses.
