OGDEN — Weber State University's Science in the Parks program will visit six Ogden area parks this summer, aiming to get children of all ages excited about science.

Weeklong park visits will be held from June 23-Aug. 1, holding interactive science activities from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. each weekday except holidays. The schedule includes: Lorin Farr Park, June 23-27; Liberty Park, June 30-July 3; Marshall White Park, July 7-11; Monroe Park, July 14-18; Jaycee Park, July 21-23; and 4th Street Park, July 28-Aug.1.

Activities at each location will include constructing musical instruments, playing with soap bubbles, building objects with magnets and more. In addition to the science lesson, children also receive lunch courtesy of the Ogden School District's free lunch program.
