FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Steve Ralston's goal in the 79th minute helped the New England Revolution salvage a 1-1 tie with New York on Wednesday night.

New York captain Seth Stammler scored his first goal in three seasons in the 37th minute to put the Red Bulls (4-4-4) ahead. He converted a long cross from the left wing from Dave VanDenBergh.

RUSSIA 2, SWEDEN 0: At Innsbruck, Austria, Russia dominated on Wednesday night in a Group D elimination game, sending the Russians to the European Championship quarterfinals. Roman Pavlyuchenko scored in the first half and Andrei Arshavin, coming off a two-match suspension, made it 2-0 right after the break. That set up a match against the Netherlands on Saturday in Basel.

SPAIN 2, GREECE 1: At Salzburg, Austria, Spain finished the first round perfect, sending the defending champions home with no points.
