COLORADO SPRINGS — A run-scoring single by Christian Colonel in the seventh inning gave the Colorado Springs Sky Sox a 3-2 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Wednesday night.

The loss was the fourth straight for the Bees, which marks their longest losing streak of the season. They have also dropped seven of their last eight games.

The game was tied 2-2 when Jayson Nix singled off of Salt Lake starter Dustin Moseley. Nix stole second, moved to third on a groundout and scored on Colonel's bat handle looper to left field.

Moseley (2-4) pitched well, despite being charged with the loss, as he allowed just three runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings with three strikeouts and one walk.

Adam Morrissey led the Bees with three hits and one run batted, while Matt Brown singled to drive the other Salt Lake run.

The two teams conclude their four-game series tonight before the Bees return home to begin a four-game set against Sacramento on Saturday at Franklin Covey Field.
