Course record: Allen Haag, 61

Course description: It was built just four years ago by the Allen family amid a new subdivision less than a mile west of I-15, about 10 miles north of Ogden. It's quite flat and not overly difficult with wide fairways, large greens and not too many bunkers. Most of the holes are straight with a few doglegs. It's very playable for the average golfer.

Fun fact: Remuda is built on an old horse ranch and is named for the Spanish word defined as "a large group of horses from which those to be used for the day are chosen."

Holes to remember: No. 3 is a right-to-left dogleg with a bunker to the right side of the green. The par-3 12th hole is less than 100 yards long with a green that seems to be about 100 yards wide and not very deep. The other par-3 on the back nine, No. 17, is perhaps the toughest hole, measuring over 200 yards from the back two tees with a bunker bordering the left side.
