A woman had to be flown to the hospital after a single-car crash on westbound Interstate 80 Wednesday evening.
About 7:20 p.m., the woman swerved near 6650 East and drove her Jeep Liberty off the freeway, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden.
The vehicle hit a tree, causing the vehicle to roll several times down a hill.
Police extricated the woman, who was around 20, from the car and flew her to a nearby hospital. Roden said the woman's injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.
Officials still are trying to determine what caused the crash.
