The Utah Blaze had an off weekend, but still had a chance to clinch a third-straight Arena Football League playoff spot on Monday night. All Utah had to have was a loss by the Colorado Crush during at ESPN2-televised game on the road against the Arizona Rattlers.

But the Crush took care of business in Phoenix, winning 62-55. Now it may be up to the Blaze to do the same thing on Saturday. Utah finishes the regular season on Saturday on the road against the Rattlers.

Utah, 5-10 with five wins in its past six games, can clinch a playoff spot with a victory. They can also get into the postseason with a loss by either Colorado or the Grand Rapids Rampage — even if they lose the finale at Arizona.

John Dutton threw for 256 yards and six touchdowns in the Colorado's win.

Ben Nelson had 10 catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns, Willie Quinnie added eight catches for 91 yards and three touchdowns for the Crush (5-10).

Colorado jumped out to a 28-7 lead after the first quarter, and led by 21 going into the fourth before Arizona rallied for 27 points in the period to close to 62-55.

Matt Sauk threw for 364 yards and eight touchdowns, but was intercepted twice for the Rattlers. Siaha Burley had 12 catches for 164 yards and four TDs. Trandon Harvey added 10 catches for 142 yards and two scores for the Rattlers (8-7).

Arizona, which has already clinched a playoff spot, will finish off the regular season Saturday against Utah. Colorado will host Kansas City to end its season.
