TORONTO — Rohan Ricketts scored his first two Major League Soccer goals as Toronto FC remained unbeaten at home with a 3-1 victory over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday night.

Danny Dichio also scored for Toronto (6-4-2), which improved to 5-0-2 at home and won despite missing five starters to international assignments.

Dichio scored his fifth goal in the 37th minute with a right-footed volley from just inside the penalty area to the right corner past Preston Burpo.

Ricketts notched his first MLS goal to make it 2-0 in the 58th minute when he booted the ball into the right corner from 18 yards out. Ricketts, acquired in April after he was released from his English team, scored again eight minutes later.

The lone goal for Colorado (5-6-0) came in the 81st minute, when Christian Gomez connected on a free kick.

D.C. UNITED 4, RED BULLS 1: At Washington, Luciano Emilio had his first three-goal game, leading D.C. United past the New York Red Bulls. Emilio, last year's league MVP, has scored in each of the last four games, notching six goals of his seven goals in that span.

CREW 3, WIZARDS 0: At Kansas City, Kan., Alejandro Moreno scored a goal in each half and the Columbus Crew broke a club-record goal drought and four-match winless streak. Chad Marshall also scored for the Crew (7-4-1), who were 0-3-1 in their last four — all shutouts — after winning five straight.
