Layton's Brandon Kida defeated Eric Wright of South Weber, 4 and 3, to win the Utah State Junior Amateur Match Play Championship at the Ogden Golf and Country Club.
The match was scheduled for 36 holes, but Kida wrapped up the match with three holes left to claim the trophy in the Boys 15-18 Division.
Amanda Snyder of Syracuse won the Girls 15-18 Division with a 2-and-1 victory over Annika Afoa of Murray.
Salt Lake's Jaden Jackson defeated Arman Ben-Jacob in 19 holes for the Boys 13-14 title. Austin Banz of Salt Lake beat Jaece Stokes of West Haven 1-up in the Boys 11-12 final, while Draper's Rhett Rasmussen defeated Jordan Castello in the Boy's 10 & Under final.
Taylorsville's Naomi Soifua defeated Nicole Begay for the Girls 12 & Under title, while the Girls 13-14 final will be rescheduled.
The winners had to survive a week's worth of matches after a qualifying tournament on Monday.
Eaglewood assistant pro Brent Moyes used his home course to his advantage in winning the Eaglewood Open with a 4-under-par 67 Friday afternoon.
The 44-year-old Moyes claimed the $1,500 first prize after defeating Mike Borich in a one-hole playoff. Provo Open winner Tom Costello and Chris Moody tied for second at 68, just ahead of Henry White at 69.
John Owen was the low amateur with a 68, while 2007 Eaglewood Open champion Kim Thompson was the senior winner with a 71.
