HOUSTON (AP) — Kheli Dube had a goal and an assist as the New England Revolution extended their unbeaten streak to six games with a 2-0 win over the Houston Dynamo on Thursday night.

Steve Ralston gave the Revolution the lead in the eighth minute. Off a throw-in, Dube crossed it from the left box to just outside the 6-yard box on the right side where Ralston kicked it into a wide-open net.

In the 35th minute, Mauricio Castro crossed a pass to Dube on the right box that went off Houston goalkeeper Tony Caig's shoulder and in.

Goalkeeper Matt Reis had five saves for New England (8-3-2, 26 points), which extended its lead in the Eastern Conference to seven points over Chicago and Columbus. Houston (4-4-5, 17 points) fell for the first time in three games and remains tied with Los Angeles on top of the Western Conference.
