Deseret News photographers brought home all three top awards in general news photography from the Utah-Idaho-Spokane Associated Press Association. Tom Smart snapped up four of the 10 awards in photography related categories.

Reporters, photographers and design staff competed against other association members in their class division at the association's annual contest. Winners were named at the annual meeting held in Spokane last week.
