LOGAN — More than 100 artists from across the United States will celebrate the Summerfest Arts Faire's 25th anniversary at Tabernacle Square in historic downtown Logan today through Saturday.

One highlight of the festival is a Plein Air Art Paint Out. Artists will go on a 20-minute ride through Cache Valley, then pick a scene they would like to paint before returning to Tabernacle Square for judging. Media in the juried show include oil and watercolor painting, fiber art, acrylics, sculpture, pottery, photography and more.

Additional activities include a wide variety of food, live music performances and a children's art yard where kids can create a variety of art projects. Summerfest hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Admission to the festival is free. There is a $1 admission for the children's art yard and $25 for the Plein Air art reception. Art created that day at the Plein Air art reception will be auctioned off.

The Tabernacle is at 50 N. Main. For more information, call 435-755-1890 or visit www.logansummerfest.com
