Course description: If you're expecting a course surrounded by mountains, this isn't it. The course is far from any mountains, but takes its name from the nice view of the Wasatch Mountains to the east. You probably won't find a flatter course in Utah than this one. And with few hazards, it's extremely difficult to lose a ball here. The course has a very wide-open feel to it with spacious fairways, huge greens and trees that aren't too tall. Most of the holes are fairly straight with a few doglegs.
Fun fact: Mountain View has one of the largest ladies leagues in the state with close to 100 members who meet on Mondays.
Holes to remember: No. 4 is a left-to-right dogleg that has recently been modified. No. 9 is a dogleg left par-5 that isn't too long, but offers a beautiful view of the mountains as you finish your front nine. The par-3 16th hole is a pretty hole that is the only one on the course that requires a shot over a water hazard.
