Robert VanDyke, convicted in Provo of drunken driving, is another sad example of someone who fails to accept responsibility for his actions. Instead of accepting his punishment, this guy rails at the justice system that has afforded him, time and time again, benefit of the doubt. In other words — he was innocent until proven guilty.

VanDyke has had a pattern of bad behavior related to alcohol. Unfortunately, eight years ago, someone died as a result of his behavior. Yet VanDyke and his father believe he was tried in the media. Perhaps both of them might consider that society finally has said, "Enough is enough."

Go to prison, Mr. VanDyke, and in those quiet moments of reflection, consider that all of these events started with you. Get some help.
