A former Public Enemy No. 1 has been charged with stabbing a pregnant woman in the shoulder.

Dani-Rae Montoya, 18, stabbed the woman on May 19 following an argument outside a cell phone store at 1645 W. 700 North, according to charges filed Monday in 3rd District Court.

Montoya faces one count of aggravated assault, a third-degree felony.

Last month, the Salt Lake Metro Gang Unit named Montoya its top gang target. The woman was wanted on a first-degree felony warrant for aggravated robbery. Montoya is being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on $250,000 bail.
