TAYLORSVILLE — A Subway restaurant robbed three times in 10 days earlier this year was targeted once again Monday night.

Two men armed with a gun and wearing baseball caps entered the sandwich shop, 4174 S. Redwood Road, demanding money at 9:43 p.m., according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office. The suspects were described as white males in their 40s, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9.

The descriptions of the robbers matches earlier descriptions of the chain of robberies at the restaurant this spring, but officials say they are unsure whether the robberies are linked.

Just 19 minutes after the Subway robbery was reported, Little Caesar's, 3940 W. 5400 South, was also robbed at gunpoint. Authorities say the description of the suspects from the Little Caesar's robbery matches the description of the men who robbed the Subway. At the pizza restaurant, however, witnesses said an Hispanic man was also involved in the robbery.

Police were able to obtain video surveillance from one of the locations and hope to use it to identify the suspects.
